- "I felt embarrassed when you told our friends how we are pinching pennies."
- "I liked it when you helped with the dishes without being asked."
- "I feel hurt and am disappointed that you forgot our anniversary".
- I’m afraid of spiders
- I’m really sad my friend is moving
- I’m too angry to call her back now
Here is a
"Feelings" Word List by Dr. Nadig. The
"Win-Win Game" website gives a template for expressing these feelings. They even have an
anger management plan book. They have curriculum and a game board, which might help learn conflict resolution skills.
Here is an absolutely awesome I feel lesson that is filled with examples. It is interactive lessons mostly for kids, but seriously gets the point across.
